Today especially, travel Insurance is of the utmost importance. Not only are there policies that protect you for trip cancellation, but they also protect you if something happens during your trip.

What if you or someone in your family gets sick or have a medical emergency the day before you leave and you have to cancel?
Most cancellation policies are fairly strict and although the suppliers may feel bad for your circumstances, it is unlikely that they will feel bad enough to break he rules and give you your hard-earned money back.
